Bond University will be opening their doors for their annual Open Day on Saturday the 25th of July 2015. Attend Open Day and you'll receive an all-access pass to the Bond campus so that you can explore every area that interests you. We encourage you to get involved in the many exciting activities on offer and meet the people who could make a lasting difference in your life. Open Day is your chance to start asking questions and to get excited about your future.

The program

This year Bond are doing things a little differently and will be holding an Open Day on a Saturday afternoon, followed by an evening of tempting street-style food and live music, with the opportunity to experience Bond's beautiful campus at dusk. 

Entertainment, food and a free concert

Open Day isn't all about information, it’s an experience!  While you’re there, Bond will offer the chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere as Bond comes alive at twilight for Live at Bond with music from Tijuana Cartel.  Gold Coast Youth Orchestra Big Band and Robina State High School will also be performing. Bond will also have a range of delicious street style food stalls open and refreshments available throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

As one of Australia’s favourite party bands and the corner stone of the ‘east meets west’ electronic scene, genre-defying Tijuana Cartel are renowned for creating atmospheric soundscapes combining world music and club beats.

Bound together by their mutual love of instrumental, trippy and mind-expanding music, Paul George and Carey O’Sullivan are a truly formidable force. They started playing together in the 1990’s at epic Surfers Paradise venue, Swingin’ Safari, which became the launch pad for Tijuana Cartel’s unique sound.  Since then, they have toured prolifically and performed at the biggest festivals throughout Australia, Europe and the USA.
